Pau Gasol is known to be the basketball king of Spain. His brother Marc Gasol and Ricky Rubio both are from Spain as well, but Pau’s presence in the NBA from Spain has made him a walking Hall of Famer.
Pau Gasol is still participating in international basketball with Spain over the summer. Gasol, age 35, elected to play this summer despite playing a grueling 34.4 minutes per game under Tom Thibodeau.

The Spain coaching staff has no disclosed what the injury is, but they do feel optimistic that he could continue with Spain as they take on Greece.
