After landing the big max contract this summer, Jimmy Butler has now been invited to USA basketball mini camp in Las Vegas. The mini camp will determine who will play for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janerio.

Butler is among six other players invited to the camp. Draymond Green, Mike Conley, Harrison Barnes, Tobias Harris, Victor Oladipo, and Trey Burke will all have a chance to showcase their talents to Jerry Colangelo.
Butler’s former coach Tom Thibodeau will be at the mini camp in Las Vegas. Thibodeau is one of the assistants for Team USA.
