The Chicago Bulls sound more like the Chicago Symphony when they speak about Fred Hoiberg. A nice smooth rhythmic sound as they compliment Fred Hoiberg one way or another. Queue in Taj Gibson, a player that was supposed to be the forgotten man has now made a niche in the rotation behind Nikola Mirotic.
Interesting nugget from Taj. Said Bulls don’t watch film every day: “There are days where (Hoiberg) just talks & relates to us. That’s big”

There’s not only big chances in philosophy when it comes to game-play, but a bigger change is the locker room mentality. Hoiberg was hired as the new breed of coaches that posses a strong player-coach relationship to go along with their advanced analytics game-planning. So far, Hoiberg has earned the respect of Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler right off the bat. He went to visit every player in their homes during the summer, which includes Pau Gasol and Nikola Mirotic which both were in Spain.
It’s a new era for the Chicago Bulls. The fans are feeling it while they watch the games, but players are feeling it even more inside the locker-room.
