With the smallest sample size of Derrick Rose in the preseason any fan can ask for, Rose looked terrific in 10 minutes of play against the Dallas Mavericks in his preseason debut. It wasn’t just his eight points in 10 minutes that was impressive, it was the wide open lanes that were made for him because of the floor spacing Hoiberg has created through his shooters.
One preseason game for 10 minutes of action isn’t much to go on, but players inside the locker room believe Rose is onto something special this season based on the way he looks in practice.
