Usually players leave it up to Stacey King to come up with a good nickname, but that’s not the case for the rookie Bobby Portis. The 6’11 highly energetic rookie was given the name “Crazy eyes Portis” on his third day into training camp.

With Joakim Noah responding to the rookie with compliments, it’s safe to say the Bulls found themselves a rookie that will be very much liked in the locker room. So far, Portis has set a good impression on the Bulls as he’s the first one into the practice facility and the last one to leave. Portis put it best, it’s his first job ever so he’s taking things a lot more seriously than most rookies are.
