The Chicago Bulls are one of five teams interested in the Chicago native Patrick Beverley according to Basketball Insider’s Alex Kennedy.
Dallas, New York, Chicago, Cleveland and, of course, Houston are among the teams interested in Patrick Beverley (@patbev21), per sources.

The Bulls are aggressively looking for a backup point guard in free agency. The Bulls are linked to Stuckey, Neal, Lin, and Mo Williams according to KC Johnson. Add the 6’0 ruthless point guard to that list as well. Signing Beverley might be a long shot, more like a pipe dream for the Bulls.
Patrick Beverley is a restricted free agent, so the Rockets can match any offer sheet he receives. But those are the teams showing interest.

Not only Beverley is a restricted free agent, but Houston is interested in bringing him back. The Bulls will have to scrape every last penny in their pockets to offer Beverley a MMLE but Rockets could match that in their sleep; especially if they want to bring him back The only way this rumor can snowball into anything bigger is if Rockets decide to go all out for a superstar free agent. Similar idea to last season when the Rockets let Chandler Parsons go as a restricted free agent in hopes they could sign another max level player.
