In almost any other case, the story line going into Friday’s matchup between the Chicago Bulls and the Golden State Warriors would headline around Derrick Rose and Stephen Curry, or Jimmy Butler and Klay Thompson. However, with Stephen Curry’s historic start to the season so far, Jimmy Butler will look to cool off the reigning MVP.
Butler: “I look forward to guarding everybody in this league, especially a prime time scorer like (Curry). I’ll ask coach for that matchup.”

The Warriors remain undefeated at 12-0 as they’re led behind Stephen Curry’s 33.7 points per game, 5.9 assists per game, and 4.8 rebounds per game. The Chicago Bulls gave the Golden State Warriors their first home loss of their season last year. Bulls were just one of two total teams to beat the Warriors in the Oracle arena last season.
With Derrick Rose expected to return Friday night, the Bulls will look to repeat history as they hope to give the Warriors their first loss of the season.
