Derrick Rose took an elbow to the face during the Bulls first practice. Taj Gibson said he’s not sure if it was his elbow that made contact with Rose’s face during an aggressive play.
Bulls say Rose suffered a left orbital fracture that will require surgery tomorrow. Timetable for return will be set then.

The timetable of Rose’s return will be set tomorrow after the surgery. Rose will probably start the season off wearing the mask if he’s scheduled to return before the season begins.
