First Sports Illustrated’s NBA Top 100 list of 2016, now it’s NBA 2k16, Butler has officially made noise all-around the NBA. NBA 2k16’s player rating was released this week, and by no surprise Butler’s name was ranked among the NBA’s best this season.
Jimmy Butler is tied for the third spot with Dwyane Wade with the rating of 86. James Harden grabbed the top spot with 92 and Klay Thompson edged out Butler as he moved up to 87. If Butler performs up to his contract this season, there’s a good chance 2k will make adjustments midway into the season putting Butler at the no. 2 spot.
Derrick Rose didn’t get as much love as Jimmy Butler in his ratings as 2k rated him 84. Rose is ranked as the eighth best point guard as Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, and Russell Westbrook headlined the list for the point guards. Mike Conely surprisingly outranked Derrick Rose as he claimed the seventh spot with a rating of 85.
