After a hot start to the game against the Denver Nuggets, Jimmy Butler took a hard fall as he grabbed in knees in pain towards the end of the second quarter. Early implications were a sprained knee after he was taken to the locker-room. The MRI revealed there is no tear in Butler’s knee.
Butler is headed back to Chicago.

A day removed from the injury, the Bulls have sent Butler home to visit the team doctor, but the injury is now called a strained knee. Butler finished the game with 19 points on 6-8 shooting.
