It seemed obvious and inevitable, but the Chicago Bulls finally exercised Doug McDermott and Tony Snell’s option through 2016-2017. Snell’s option will be picked up in his fourth season, but McDermott’s is set only for his third season.
Both players are expected to see a heavy increase in workload this season. Tony Snell has already earned a starting role, and McDermott has become the primary scorer off the bench.
